Hello to all my friends on Dev Art!

Thanks for all the comments and replies. I seem to be getting some attention for my Carrion Pumpkin. Thanks guys, you have inspired me to carve another one this year! I wonder if I should do Carrion again, or choose another Clive Barker character? Hellraiser is kind of persuading...


I have been gone for the longest time, so sorry about my absence. I wasn't ignoring any notes you sent me, I just have gotten so incredibly busy and had to cut something out of my life. Sadly, it was art and writing Horrible of me.

Life is hard, but life is good. I'm not too fond of my job (work at frickin' Starbucks...), and I moved back into my folks' house, which was hard. You know, the whole parent thing. I love them, and I want nothing more than to help them through this international economic crisis. (It's so hard right now, that I have to pay the bills every once in awhile with my measly retail wage...) But I also want my own life and my own choices.

But, it's all good. I'm distracting myself from the insanity with fencing class, which is a hell of a lot of fun even though I suck at it. I also do volunteer sailing at San Diego's Maritime Museum, which is the coolest thing I've ever done in my life, and hopefully will look good on a college application and a resume.

In the meantime, I'm just working, going to school, and hunting for a web design job to help us through this economic slump.

I'd love to hear how y'all are doing! I'm gonna catch up on all of your artwork.
